Who runs this site
This site is Green Bubble Check, published at greenbubblecheck.com. It is operated by an independent publisher, not by a company. You can reach us at jean8291@naver.com, which is the same address listed on our contact page. That address is monitored by a person.
The checker runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere
This is the most important paragraph on this page, because this site asks you to tell it about your phone, your software and your mobile carrier.
The message checker runs entirely in your browser. The phone models, software versions and carriers you select are never sent to our servers, never stored, and never logged. We don't have a server that could receive them.
This is a consequence of how the site is built rather than a promise we are asking you to trust. The site is a set of static files. All the logic that turns your selections into an answer is JavaScript that runs on your own device. There is no form submission, no API call and no database. You can confirm this yourself by opening your browser's network inspector while you use the checker — you will see no outbound requests carrying your selections.
When you use the "copy link to this result" button, your selections are encoded into the part of the
address after the # symbol. By the design of the web, that fragment is never transmitted
to a web server. It exists only in your browser and in any link you choose to share.
Advertising and Google AdSense
There are currently no ads on this site, and no advertising cookies are set. We intend to support the site with Google AdSense, and this section describes what will change when that happens — but nothing here is running today, and we would rather tell you what is actually true than describe a future state in the present tense.
When advertising is switched on, the following will apply, and this page will be updated to say so:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, will use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and to other websites on the internet.
- Google's use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick DART cookie, will enable it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You will be able to opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings — a control that already works today, across every site that uses these cookies.
- The same applies to aboutads.info/choices, which lets you opt out of a range of third-party vendors at once.
- Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be shown a consent prompt before any personalised advertising cookie is set. We will not enable advertising until that prompt is in place — it is wired to the same switch, so one cannot be turned on without the other.
We will not use pop-ups, interstitials, auto-playing media, or ads placed inside the checker form or its result. Those are decisions about the design of the site, not about advertising, and they are not going to change.
Cookies
This site currently sets no cookies at all. Not by us, and not by anyone else — there is no advertising, no analytics and no consent tool running, so there is nothing to set one. You can verify this in your browser's developer tools: open the storage panel on any page here and it will be empty.
We set no cookies of our own under any configuration. The site stores no preferences, no session identifier and no login, for the simple reason that there is nothing on this site to log in to. It also uses no local storage and no session storage.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Every major browser lets you refuse cookies entirely or delete existing ones, usually under a Privacy or Site Data heading. Blocking them will not stop the checker from working, because the checker does not use them.
Analytics
We currently run no analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics on this site today, no measurement script of any sort, and consequently no analytics cookie. We are not counting your visit.
We expect to add Google Analytics 4 later, because knowing which guides people actually read is how we decide what to expand and which facts to re-check first. If and when we do, it will be the only analytics tool here and this section will be rewritten to describe it in the present tense.
What will not change either way: no heatmap tools, no session recorders, no advertising pixels beyond AdSense, and no social media trackers. And under no configuration do the selections you make in the checker leave your device.
Your rights if you are in the EU, the UK, or California
Under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Since we hold no personal data ourselves, requests about advertising or analytics data are best directed to Google, which is the controller for that data. We will help you find the right route if you write to us.
In practice, at the moment, there is nothing here for those rights to reach. This site runs no advertising, no analytics and no cookies, so neither we nor any third party is processing personal data through it. That will change when we enable advertising, and this page will change with it.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information. To opt out of personalised advertising, use the Google Ads Settings link above, which is the effective mechanism for the advertising described here.
Where consent is the lawful basis for a cookie, we have to ask for it before setting the cookie. Today that question does not arise, because no cookies are set. Before we enable advertising we will put a consent prompt in place for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland; the two are deliberately tied together in our configuration so that advertising cannot be switched on without it.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us and we will act on it. We would note that there is no mechanism on this site through which anyone of any age can submit personal information to us.

We link to Apple, Google, GSMA and carrier documentation, and to other sites where they are the best source. We do not control those sites and this policy does not cover them. When we link to a primary source it is because we are citing it, not endorsing it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in our update log, in the same way we log corrections to the facts on the site.
