Contact and corrections

A real person reads this address. Corrections get answered first.

Email

jean8291@naver.com

That is a plain address — not an image, not assembled by a script. Write to it about anything: a mistake, a question the site does not answer, a broken page, a licensing question, or an advertising enquiry.

Response time: two to three business days for most messages. Corrections to published facts usually get a reply the same day, because they matter more.

Report a fact that is wrong

This is the important part of this page. This site is a set of claims about how messaging behaves, and those claims go stale as software and carriers change. Reader corrections are not a complaints channel here — they are one of the main inputs that keeps the site accurate, alongside our own scheduled re-checks.

If something we published does not match what your phone actually does, please tell us. To act on it quickly we need four things:

  1. The page URL. Paste the whole address. If it came from the checker, include the part after the # — that encodes the exact combination you were looking at, and it lets us reproduce your result precisely.
  2. Both phones. Model and software version for yours, and as much as you know about theirs. Software version is the field that most often explains a disagreement.
  3. The carrier on each side, including whether either is a prepaid or resold brand. This is the single most common reason two people get different results on identical phones.
  4. What you actually saw, as plainly as you can put it. "The padlock was not there", "the photo arrived blurry", "read receipts never appeared". A screenshot helps if you have one and are comfortable sending it — crop out anything private first, we do not need the messages themselves.

What happens next: we try to reproduce it, we check the underlying claim against the primary source, and if we were wrong we fix every page that depends on that fact — our content is structured so we can find them all — and we write up the change in the update log with what it said before and what it says now. We do not quietly edit pages.

Ask a question the site does not answer

If you have worked through the checker and the guides and still do not have your answer, that is useful information for us. Questions we get more than once tend to become guides. Include the same details as above and we will tell you what we know, including when the honest answer is that we do not know.

One thing we cannot help with: we have no ability to look up an account, contact a carrier on your behalf, or see anything about your phone. We are an independent site with no relationship to Apple, Google, Samsung or any network operator.

Press, licensing and advertising

Same address. If you would like to reuse our comparison tables, the short version is that you may quote them with credit and a link — the details are in our terms of use. If you are writing something and want to check a fact with us first, please do; we would much rather answer a question in advance than read a correction later.

Why there is no contact form

A form here would have to send your message to a third-party service, which would mean introducing data collection to a site whose whole design point is that it collects nothing. Given the choice between a contact form and being able to say honestly that nothing you do on this site is transmitted anywhere, we picked the second. Email works, reaches a person, and leaves you holding a copy of what you sent.
